This is a beautiful woodcarving of Nirvana Buddha hand carved by one of our most skilled artist of Nepal. The statue of Buddha consists of every minute details giving it a calm and serene look of nirvana state.

Buddha entered into state of nirvana after 45 years of untiring efforts in preaching the path to emancipation from the bondage of suffering referred to as the circle of birth, old age, Decease and death in Kusinagar in 543 B.C.

Nirvana simply refers to blowing out or becoming extinguished.
