Dancing Ganesh

This is a magnificent idol of dancing Ganesha carved by one of the best wood carvers of Bhaktapur. The idol is carved with utter precision accommodating each and every characteristic of the Dancing Ganesha.

It’s the happy form of Ganesha representing the relaxed and enjoyable form. The Dancing Ganesha is believed to be dancing under the divine wish fulfilling tree (Kalpa Vrikshya). The dancing Ganesha idol has four hands one hand holding the battle axe, while other hand holding his famous snack Modak (dumpling) and rest two hands in the dancing position of Natraj, along with one foot placed on the ground and the other raised on the air for the during the dance.
