

Magnificent masterpiece of Buddha Head
This is an aesthetically pleasing statue of Buddha’s head carved by one of our most skilled wood carvers of Nepal. It is carved with utter precision and adherence.
The Buddha head has winding hairs all along his head resembling the balance between indulgence and mortification representing the stage where he Buddha has a curly hair that has been cut of but yet not shaved; reminding us that our life may be of duality but we can maintain balance through enlightenment. The eye of the Buddha is half closed symbolizing him always being in two worlds and seeing everything through his awakened third eye. The long ear of the Buddha reminds that he was once a prince covered in jewelry but gave it all up in servitude divinity and mankind also, it resembles that he can hear all the suffering of the world and responds with understanding, compassion and wisdom. The lips of the Buddha is depicted with smile to resemble that despite all suffering, he has a higher wisdom and higher understanding of the universe.
