The statue of Sahasrabhuja Avalokiteswara is hand carved with absolute precision and devotion of dexterous wood carving skills which projects transcendence of the statue.
Sahasrabhuja Avalokitswara is represented with eleven heads and one thousand arms. However the eight basic arms has more prominent position and other remaining one are distributed on either side to form a mandala. The eleventh head at the top is that of his parent Tathagata; Amitabha. The tenth head is terrifying displaying fierce features to demonstrate that even most evolved celestial being retains anger and all others are placid representing that anger can be harnessed to good effect and transformed into compassion.The principal pair of hands is held against the chest in the gesture of adoration while the uppermost hands hold the rosary and the full blown lotus. The four hands display jewel and the gesture of charity on thee right and the pot and the bow and arrow on the left, along with the horned head of an antelope resting on the left shoulder.
