Magnificent replica of traditional window
This is a modified replica of the Kumari window designed by us and crafted by our skilled woodcarvers of Nepal. This window is also known as SanJhya locally. This is a masterpiece with three adjacent sliding windows decorated with floral patterns on the doors of the window and carving of nymph and Kalash laced in front of the sliding doors of each section. Ganesh and Kumar are carved on two sides of the lintels along with endless knot, peacock and Garuda on the cornices of the window.
Sanjhya is a projecting bay window and the classic Newar window. A typical Sanjhya consists of three units and is located in the centre of the facade. The shutter consists of lattice and usually opens upwards. It is usually located on the third floor of the House.
