Beautiful traditional Ganesh window (Ga Jhya)

This is a marvelous traditional window hand carved by the offspring of the predecessors who built traditional windows of historic Newar community. This window is inspired from the windows found in temples of Bhaktapur and different newari sociieties of Nepal.

The sitting Ganesha is carved at the center of the window holding Axe, chanting necklace on the other hand, also he is holding his favorite sweet modak in his left hand and he is holding feather (used as a pen) in his left hand. The upper part of the window is carved with Buddha surrounded by Chhepu and Hittimanga and the lower part of the window is carved with a Pari (nyph) seemingly flying along with carrying the upper portion of the window.

This is a unique piece of window which cannot be found no where else than Nepal. This is carved magnificently comprising of each and every minute details of traditional windows maintaining the symmetry of the traditional art
