Lord Shiva

This is a hand-sculpted masterpiece of Hindu god Lord Shiva. It is carved by one of our finest artists of Bhaktapur with every intricate detail of the standing Shiva.

Standing Lord Shiva statue is holding his trident(Trishul) in his right hand along with serpent(naga named Vasuki) wrapped around his neck and skin of tiger and blow around his waist.

Shiva is known as "The Destroyer" within the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity that includes Bramha and Vishnu. Shiva is regarded as the supreme lord who creates, protects, and transforms the universe.
