Buddha Shakti(Samantabhadra)

 This is a masterpiece of the Samantabhadra statue(Buddha Shakti) sculpted by dextrous artists of the Newar community of Bhaktapur popular for their magnificent wooden art and architecture.

     The statue is made in a flawless and perfect manner. As the statue is of high quality; the face and the body of the Samantabhadra are glowing.

The sculpture represents the position where Buddha and Shakti are locked in a union. Samantabhadra embracing his consort is similar to the Chinese Yin Yang Symbol.
